As with every other material, polyurethane, and Laminex, both have their pros and cons. The purpose of your kitchen along with the looks you want decides which one is best for you.
Polyurethane: For a sleek look, just throw some shark nose handles with a polyurethane finish. It offers a minimalistic approach with a vast color range. Depending on your personality, choose from either a saying or a gloss finish. But beware of the cautious handling that comes with polyurethane. A single chip will require the replacement of the complete door.
Laminex: Rich in texture and color, Laminex is ultra-durable and low maintenance. It scratches easily but rarely chips, which is less noticeable.
Note that polyurethane is a choice of a majority of customers as it looks better and they resolve to take proper care of their interior. But if you are planning to rent your home then Laminex might be a clever choice as the tenants tend to follow a careless attitude towards the house.
You can bypass the choice-making process by mixing the two materials to achieve a new range of possibilities for the kitchen design and textures.

Laminate kitchens are delivered early in 2-3 weeks. Polyurethane kitchens take 4-5 weeks from the second visit to check measurements.
For most benchtops of installation jobs, 4-5 hours are more than enough. It may vary depending upon the complexity of the job.
Our central showroom is conveniently placed a little north of Sydney’s CBD, in Willoughby. But our services extend around the whole city.
The stonemasons efficiently plan a layout between the benchtop specs and the slab. The best layout which uses minimum slabs and maximizes stability is used.
The area of the benchtop that extends without cabinets beneath it and has a leg/chair space is called an overhang. It is used as a retractable/non-retractable dining table that remains attached to the kitchen.
According to standard protocols, the maximum length an overhang can go without support is 300 mm. You can extend this length with supports.
For more stability, choose layered edge joins as they impart a greater corner strength. But they are conspicuous. Mitered edge joins are less noticeable and raise the aesthetics.
With proper knowledge of joining, glue mixing, and book matching, stonemasons can easily make the joins inconspicuous. A good stonemason will always keep the joins to a minimum by proper alignment of the slab over the benchtop.
For most surfaces, lukewarm water, and a cloth will be enough. But for stubborn stains, use a neutral pH cleaning detergent. Refrain from using bleach or any abrasive liquid as it may harm your benchtop in a long run.
Natural stone can burn, stain, or crack in sudden drastic temperature fluctuations whilst Neolith is heatproof.
